Hey guys, I'm Dmytry. Owning a 240sx has always been my dream for a decade, 180sx that is.
But by the beautiful twist of fate I found a coupe and absolutely feel in love with the different rear at first sight. I have 89' two tone. I don't know a whole lot about being a mechanic especially for my age, but I'm learning and always humble. Thanks for letting me and others ask for help and have a great time. Thanks |

Old guy back for more.
Hi, everyone! Been a long time since I've been an active consumer of info on Zilvia, but finally picked up a '98 kouki, and am most of the way through my red top SR swap. Back for more info and guidance as I do the final conversion work. Redid the interior with all stock stuff, new stock JDM lights, widened the stance on stock wheels, really going for the nicely tuned sleeper.
![]() Look forward to chatting! -Luke

Hello everyone. Greetings from California.
Owning an S14 was a childhood dream until I picked up my bone stock 1995 240SX about four days ago. Looking forward to learning lots from the good people of Zilvia. |

What’s up my friends? My name is Leo and I’m from northern CA. I have a 1992 S13 SE coupe on a stock KA. Plan to keep the KA. Just looking to learn and resto mod my coupe. Things I have to do in the near future is maintenance stuff like change belts and replace power steering pump. Fix the digital cluster and 5 lug swap.
Looking forward to all the advice and ideas! |

Hey guys, joining up because I have two friends with 240s. Both are red early 90s hatches, 1 of which with the ka24de and the other with a Lexus 1uz Fe swap. Just driving up here to get some information, and learn what I can from you veterans. I look forward to speaking with all of you.

Hello! New to Zilvia but not to Nissans. I have a few Nissans, one of them being a mint all original convertible.
I'm in NY. There are not too many 240s left out here. They have all succumb to the evil salt and rust of the East coast! I've had my S13 hatch for almost 19 years now. Shes been through a lot! Later! |

Hello Zilvians,
My name is Gerard and I am a long time S Chassis enthusiast. I manage a performance shop that drag races an S15, builds many street S14's and we love Nissans in general. This is a great resource that I hope to contribute to! |

I’m new to the forums, my name is Carter, owner of a white 240sx. I plan on doing a Silvia front end swap, vh45de motor swap and having one of the cleanest s13’s out there. I just completed a full front and rear CTS-V Brembo swap. I will do a post in a couple days.

Hi, my name is AJ. I'm located just outside of Chicago and I currently own a 2004 G35 with 186,000 miles that's my daily. I'm in search of a 240sx. $5000 max, but it can't be a zenki and can't have any rust. Looking to purchase one in the next few weeks from anywhere in the U.S. I plan on building it before summertime and competing for fun at Gridlife midwest. Lemme know if you're selling one. My number is 630-940-5094. Thank You!!

Hey everyone, my name is Andy and I own an S15 since 2015. I read in this forums for quite a long time and finally thought it´s time to register here.
Honestly, I don´t have any big plans for this car. It now has suspension, wheels and is fun to drive and I´ll keep it that way. Maybe I wanna change the wheels from time to time and improve some basic things, but that´s it. Simple early 00´s styling. |

Hey everyone!
New member, long time lurker. Currently on my 3rd S Chassis, which is a 1995 Nissan 240sx. my other 2 were s13 Hatches that were drift missiles and not complete. Local to the Hampton Roads area in VA if anyone is local hit me up! Current build is going to be a complete restore/slight mod. Going to make it look like it just came off the showroom floor! Thanks! Finally Finished My RB25DET S13 Silvia - Road Trip Time!
Hello, newbie here. Long time lurker - I have used this website extensively to do research for my own car, this is my first S-chassis. One of my favourite cars in the world was the two tone Silvia S13. Unfortunately I never saw one pop up in the 2 years Ive been looking. This car came up solid white, around 85% done. I ended up finishing it, piecing back together the interior and rewiring a bunch of stuff. Im a big fan of OEM "Resto-mod" style. Long story short it is finally done, and I will be moving to Vancouver from Toronto by driving it there!
Here are some photos I took and edited today: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wont go into too much details of the car, but its a stock S1 RB25DET running on 10psi. We got a bit of nice weather today so i made this clip if you want the full details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5g74FSZEE0 Anyway because Im moving, I decided to drive and take the long route. Essentially doing a huge U of USA. I always wanted to see the southern areas, and fortunately I have a few friends to visit along the way. I will be sleeping in the car or camping out whenever I can though. Just doing it on a budget. Kind of like backpacking which I did a lot of a few years back. Only in a car. Google limits the amount of cities you can route so I maped it in two parts. First Half: Detroit, Cincinnati, Tale of the Dragon, Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, Elpaso. ![]() Second Half: Phoenix, Las Vegas, LA, San Fransisco, Portland, Seattle and finally Vancouver. ![]() Well I will be leaving sometime next week. Packing the car full of my stuff and doing one last oil change on the car. Will also put the car on jackstands to do a full nut and bolt on it, just to make sure it is solid and ready to go. I thought Id share this post considering how much Ive used Zilvia for manuals, wiring, ect. Ill probably break down, I mean its a 30 year old car after all. Just depends where and when. If you are on the way come say hi! Thanks for reading! |

Hello.. I’m Kalani V, out of Atlanta Ga. I’ve been studying the extensive info the members of Zilvia are willing to share. It’s cool to be able to start off with the plethora of knowledge that the past members have given, to enable new comers the chance to save valuable time. Thank you to everyone who helped me in times of struggle with my s13. I hope to give back and help if possible. Lurking since 2014

If you are new, introduce yourself! NO PICTURES
Hello everyone. New to the forums
I just picked up a 1990 240sx ka24e. This is my first 240sx I have ever bought, I also have a 1970 vw beetle back home in Seattle. I am learning on the go about how to maintain and fix stuff myself on this car. Never really done much fixing/maintenance on cars before, so I am excited to learn more about it. The car is pretty much stock besides some unknown brand exhaust, garbage radio, and some 5 slot brakes? Not really sure on that one.. I have replaced a rubber fuel line, spark plugs, and have bono'd the hatch. Hawaii rust ain't a joke! I plan on putting some coils on her eventually. As of right now I plan on keeping it the way it is, just keeping up with maintenance and such. Photos are from the first day I bought her, about two weeks ago. Thanks for looking!
