And at least your 3/8" ratchet didn't break.

My friend and I went to put his MR coilovers on his WRX, and we broke a 3/8" ratchet, a few 3/'8" drive extensions, and I believe a few sockets as well.

We ended up getting those "bolt extractors", aka turbo sockets from Sears, that has a hex end so you can put a socket over it and use a 1/2" drive breaker bar or ratchet on it.

We put the turbo socket on, put a socket over that, hooked it up to a 1/2" drive ratchet, and put a long ass pipe on it (the pipe that you can detach from one of those aluminum jacks), and it took my 190 lb friend of putting all of his weight on the bar to finally break them bitches loose. I was holding the ratchet on there so that it was square with the rest of the assembly, so that we wouldn't just sit there and round out nuts/bolts.
