adjust your clutch pedal, had that same problem on my friends s14, put a small socket to use as an extension to push out the TOB more which was cheesy but worked in the mean time, on my friends eclipse we had the exact same problem put the slave as far away as we can from the fork but not too much to the point where it won't leak/pop out of the slave, bled it like that, pedal became stiffer, pushed out better, smoother shifting, but in our case try one person w/a pushing the fork back w/a pry bar, another to work the bleeder screw, and another for the pedal, worked for me/us
