definitely sounds like a t/o bearing to me. however, t/o bearing doesnt usually cause a slipping clutch or slop in the hydraulics... at least not in my experience. what it does do is grind a groove into your pressure plate teeth. so you need a new t/o and pressure plate at least.
if you want to be absolutely sure you'll be able to get it all done in one sitting, just do the full clutch job. have a flywheel ready to go (so you dont have to leave the car sitting when you take it to get resurfaced). bring spare slave cylinder, clutch line and maybe even a spare clutch fork. dont forget brake and tranny fluid. |
