dont discredit an eclipse rs. lets think here, i dunno some of you figure we would "ream" it or whatever. 1990 240 has 140hp and 152lb of torque, an eclipse has 140 hp and 135lb of torque. yeah, we'd beat it off the line, but once our torque drops off and their hp kicks in, they can begin to pull on you. my best friend has an eclipse with the same mods as i have on my 240. ill tell you how our races go. 1st gear i get a jump and pull till about 5400 then he catches up and we shift, i begin to pull again till about 5400 then he catches me. it just goes back and forth like that. they really arent that bad of a car, and they stack up quite well against a 240. the dohc 240 though would beat it i think, it would jsut have that little extra edge in power to beat the eclipse.
