on monday, i made a trip to the junkyard and on the way home we were going about 120mph on the highway. i notice that just before i got home my car started to sound like a tractor making voom voom vooom sounds as we speed up and i also noticed that my turbo was spooling faster. my friend says that my gasket before the turbo was bad that also explains why the turbo was spooling up faster. i have no idea. what might be causing this problem. and if it really is my gasket, then where do i get a gasket for the sr????? so many questions. oh yea...i got my 300zx brakes !!!!! finally i have better stopping power. hey if any one is looking for a widebody conversion for s14s, i know where they will sell it for about 900 for front, back, and side

It's the gasket between the turbo and exhaust manifold. That one always blow out on the SR.

It's just a standard 4-bolt turbo exhaust inlet gasket. Just about any vendor will have it. I recommend getting it from here: http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=1433

Drop the turbo assembly and rebuild it properly. There are a couple of trouble spots if you still have the stock turbo. Try searching a little bit and come back if you can't find anything about it.

are there anymore problems thats on the stock sr turbo.
