Damn, that looks pretty good. I wonder how much better it would be when it's all done.

Eastbears bulge out a little bit from the line of the hood, don't they? Haven't seen a pic for a while.

Don't those beam patterns shine just in the front? I know it isnt finished yet, but with that design, is there a way you can make it project more on the sides?

Probably just a little trimming on the sides of the housing.

The beam pattern covers everything I see out of the windshield, so it works for me. The main part of the beam as it crosses the bumper is really only about 4" wide, so I'm not losing much.

Bootleg - They're BMW E46 Bi-xenon projectors/ballasts/ignitors with Philips 4300k bulbs (I think...been a while since I bought them).

Sochbat - Remember I almost bought those 300zx housings from you? Hahah...kinda wish I had, with all this damned work!!

Well the projectors, ballasts, bulbs, and ignitors were $300 at www.hidplanet.com from a private party. They have some available through the site as well.

Fiberglass stuff....I dunno, got it at Knecht's this last summer...I'd guess like $75?

And LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of time...if that's worth anything to ya.

Personally, the Silvia front end would be easier, I think. You can take out one of the sets of projectors in those and put in HIDs whenever you want (though you will need a new wiring harness for the HIDs). I've just got so much time and thought invested in these housings it's kinda ridiculous. I've also got a couple holes in my bumper! haha

But the light output is totally worth it...

I think he means he got them off the Forums there as the Bi-Xeons are a lot more than that.

It would be 10x easier. Just the fact that they already have "projectors" and all you do is just replace them with the units you have now.

Have you orgy elsewhere, please.

I got my setup off the classifieds/for sale section on hidplanet. I just lucked out with the price, I guess
