usually the most expensive ones give the best gains and least ammount of probs. Somewhere in between might be the best value for dollar but that's like asking opinions on a part for these engines that doesn't do a whole lot.

On an S13, headers are a miniml gain...the stock manifold is not that bad.

On an S14, where there's a cat at the exit of the manifold, and the header replaces all of that...there's ~5-6rwhp gains to be found.

So with that said...HotSHot is the best. Yes, they cost $300, but they are th best.

But I'd spend that same $$$ elsewhere on an S13...like I said, the stock manifold isn't bad. When you get to the +150rwhp level...then go for the little extras like a header.

^^^ Yep, stock S13 setup is NOT bad.

Maybe a 1-2rwhp gain going with a HotShot over stock...not really worth it for the $$$.

Now, on an S14...5-6rwhp at least is expected...the cat is VERY restrictive, and you can still use one under the car to keep it smog friendly (stock, there is an empty shell there as a resonator...looks like a real cat, though).

Greddy is the way to go, best of luck finding one. I was lucky enough to pick this one up for free for my free labor at a friend's shop. I've only seen two for sale in the past year.

Depends on how you're driving your ka

I"m all about keeping it around 6/7k until i can push the rev limiter back.

4-2-1 is more for a low end, street application.

plus 4-1 = better scavaging affect

Brian not here to make fun of, but the 92 s13's made almost 7RWHP with the DC sports.....
Although DC isn't a hotshot scavaging and flow are much better since back pressure throughout a high performance header is reduced to a minimal. Nissan stock headers are designed for maximum backpressure for the EGR system.

Tre not here to clown (or humiliate), but the Greddy was discontinued for numerous reasons.
It was a stainless steel header, which if you know anything about welding, welds don't hold to well to heat tolerances.
It was a 4-1, which the KA is a low rev torque engine.
It didn't show significant HP results on the dyno.
One of Greddy's highest return products under warrantee so to speak. It wasn't one of Greddy's better business decisions.

Turbo manifolds are probably the best, and give the greatest hp boost.

I'm serious. x2
