here's the break down (yes that is a 2 gauge)

18 gauge = 1.0mm
16 gauge = 1.2mm
14 gauge = 1.6mm
12 gauge = 2.0mm
10 gauge = 2.4mm

6 gauge = 4.0mm
4 gauge = 5.0mm
2 gauge = 6.0mm
0 gauge = 8.0mm
00 gauge = 10.0mm

And if it were punched would your ear be fucked up later on from having it punched out?

the piercing place that we go to doesnt suggest getting "punched" for your ears, like i said, my girl got pierced with a 8gauge, she had the option of getting pierced with a 4 gauge (which she thought she shoulda ended up doing)...

but my suggestion is, if you're worried about damaging ur ear, then go a safer route by getting pierced with something like a 8 gauge and then stretch to a 2 gauge...ur ears arent going anywhere

If you stretch your ears, treat it as something permament, cause it very well could end up being that way. Take your time and do it the smart way orrr...don't. It's your body. I probably don't give a fuck about you. I won't stop you. But it pays to go pay to have someone at the nicest shop in town pierce you, to buy expensive fancy plugs, to massage your ears, etc. My ears look fucking awesome cause I take about 70% good care of em. I'm not some extreme loser who spends half his day playing with his ears but yeah.

Heres an old pic of my ears. In the pics they were just under 1.25. I had them as big as 1.5 but i cant find any pics. Took me about 2 years i guess to get that big. The smallest they would shrink down to was like 7\8 to and inch and the least. I had them snipped and sewn up. YOu cant even tell nowdays. I do miss them sometimes though.

and here's what they look like now. Cost me about 600 bucks to get em fixed. My aunt works for a plastic surgeon.

ive got some plugs laying around most around 0 maybe some smaller. they dont fit anymore so if someone wants them, pm me and ill get em out no charge (give me a day or so to find em) i know i got rid of my progressive hoops, sorry...bit i''ve got some 0 beer cans and some green plugs and stuff...

but like i mentioned to another member recently, i use strictly bamboo now because it's light, porous (aka doesnt stink if you wear em 24/7 like i do) and its FREEEEEEEE!

edit: to the laughable retard who neg repped me saying using bamboo for plugs is "fuckin gross" and couldnt be bothered to leave their name, i've got one thing to say. your mom dude...your mom....

6 and a half grand for that!!!! must have money growing outta trees cause im still deciding on whether to get a 400 dollar shoulder tat. should of made a deal and gone with a full price instead of hourly, i wouldn't pay more than 2 grand for that.

started doing my own pearling today(look it up,im not posting ANY info on this, ill get banned...) used autoclaved stainless steel ball bearings and im sore as a mofuka...made the right choice about not getting drunk first though, i bled enough as it is...gonna be totally worth it, p.a.'s are weaksauce in comparison

I have cauliflower ears and a 6 guage, I think its 6. luckily my cauli is only on one side and has not come outside of my ear like some guys get, ill post a picture in a minute.

All I have are these flared eyelets, where can I get some other plugs? do they make them this small?

Yea. Only 5% tax on it so not too bad. It'll go down once I start going in for more sessions. But yea, this tattoo has been my brain child since I was 17. 4 years later and I'm finally getting the tattoo I always wanted, so it's worth it.
