Thanks it took a little work to get it to fit right. I was just having problems with it hitting the coilover in the rear. I had to make a spacer where the coilover mounts and put in an extra long bolt.
Actually, it doesn't rub at all. The car is not super dumped. I like to drive my car through canyons and backroads so it has to be functional, especially on shitty roads. |

You don't happen to have any pictures of the wheel wells do you?
I upgraded from stupid stretch tires to 265/35/18 (Yokohama S-Drives) on an 18x10 wheel with a -3 offset. I have about 1.5 degrees of negative camber up front last I checked. I have yet to get the car corner balanced. Obviously having problems with full lock now, not that I race or anything. But navigating into driveways and parking have become a see saw affair. I'm not rubbing the front tubs, just the inside where the seam line is, and it looks like it's tugging at the harness now, so going to have to relocate that. Here are some pictures. ![]() I know some negative camber will fix any of the rubbing issues I'm having such as the passenger side. But I'm also sure a corner balance would fix this as well since I've never gotten one. Always eyeballed it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Clearly a sledge will help, but I'm wondering if I should do anything more than that? ![]() This damage is only on the passenger side, so far it's cut pretty deep into the tire i'm afraid, so I've parked the car until I figure out what I'm going to do besides break out thor's hammer. Hopefully it didn't compromise the sidewall at all. |

I had a similar problem. There's a lip up there that cuts into the tires. Just hammer it till its out of the way or till its flat. There really isn't much more you can do without major fabrication.

Right where my harness comes out of the back of fender it's resting on a strip of steel that I tack welded in the fender well to push it way up out of the way. |

hello, as you can see I am new here, I just read through this whole thread haha. I don't understand offset in what I think is metric? not sure what those numbers mean but I understand backspace in inches. I need some help with rear wheel selection.
s13 hatch origin 50mm rear overfenders weld 4 lug draglites (to be purchased) replacement shocks and tenabe 1.25" lowering springs. lots of room for tire I would like a 27x10x15 = 255/60-r15 mickey Thompson in the rear what backspacing should I order? thing is a 27" tire with my ride height is still 3/4" from the stock metal. I know I could tuck a 28" tire with some work but I want to maintain a 10" tread I will update with pictures today Last edited by ka240de; 06-14-2014 at 10:32 AM.. |

Wow. This thread should be only 20 pages max. Makes me want a s14. The amount of extreme staggered set ups is unreal. With that said so many awesome looking cars. Broadfields s13 is so clean. Your pulled rears is fn perfection. You know your shit! I wish you could fit 265 in front. I know you've wanted it. I would love to see a s13 with 275f 295r. Plz post some more pics of the two tone fender flared s13. Love it! I'm at 17x 8.5+30 245. 17x9.5+40 265 kdw's. Stock fenders and quarters rolled. No need for a photo not worthy. Just looking for a new road race setup.

even with a stock setup you dont want 0* camber. with tire roll and such you need camber so when your car rolls it will actually have more contact.
