Mexican beers are good for that slushly thang... but im not talking about coronas, try Sol, Pacifico, or Modelo Especial. slushy heinikens are bomb too

dark beers hefs and IPAs get kinda heavy in the summer. But that hoegaarden i posted is really refreshing, i think its a good summer beer

Thumbs up

My personal fav is
HOEGAARDEN

Every review I see online is great as well

Here is one that I whole heartedly agree with!

This was a surprise. Bought it at a random grocery as a shot in the dark knowing I like Blue Moon for a change of pace now and then. 7.50$ for a 6-pack, then I couldn't find it at any other store in Vermont or New Hampshire that I tried. Finally a random check in southern NYS found it

Appearance: cloudy white

Smell: not very noticeable, hard to detect.

Taste: fantastic wheat beer. not over-the top wheat flavor that makes you feel like you're eating bread, but hints of wheat and citrus. The citrus also doesnt make it taste like lemon-aid has been added (like some beers). It's a calm beer with slight but distinctive tastes that just makes you smile when you drink it.

Mouthfeel: smooth. light, but not watery like a "xxx-light" beer.

drinkability: great, I could drink this beer all night or have it with dinner. It's a versatile beer that I was very pleased with. couldn't stop drinking it actually.

Not really for me, there are definitely lighter, crisper, more refreshing beers during the hot summer months but I pretty much love all beer all the time. lol

edit: Sierra Nevada is great beer. I love Ales.

Magic Hat makes some tasty beers too, a little on the fruity side though.

come to think of it, I drink a lot more lighter lagers for summer.
I enjoy a dark ale too, just not so much after working a hot day.
Stout floats (with or without root-beer) aren't too bad either though.

It also depends on what's available during the season.
Brewers offer particular brews seasonally.
you also get special october-fest lagers during the months of ocktoberfest.
I enjoy (and stockpile) some Spaten Octoberfests.
Christmasy ales are offered during the holiday season (I love the Jolly Pumpkin brand ales for this).

It really dpeends. I typically like to drink Stouts/Porters and that nature in the fall/winter, but once in a while during summer I'll crack one too. Same applies to Saisons and Sours...I'll save them for summer, but that won't stop me from having a Riserva in December either.

anyone have there own Keg tap...any recomendation on brand? im done renting one...every fucken time ive rented, its jammed at one point in the night...

id figure if i have my own, i dont have ot worry about it being so over used and breaking

prefer one with metal handle since the one we had, was equipped with a plastic knob that sheared out and made the process...annoying...
