Took the FT86 for a spin, handles very well. NA power; its well balanced drift car.

Try out the Scirocco DLC car. It's FF and European but I was able to keep up with some nice and fast cars online(R35 and C6 ZR1...)

I tried the GT86 and I liked it better for grip than drift because I haven't quite found the perfect setting for it yet. It should sink in by the end of the week though.

Alright so I MEANT to get on last night, but didn't. What can I look forward to? Wheel upgrades on standard cars? Free FT86? I mean, that'd really be enough to get me to the next platau since the concept is LITERALLY my favorite drift car. Just really well balanced. I've only changed color and small suspension mods. Won't touch engine output. My buddy did it and it made the car squirely. At any rate, I'm Hen_dori (or Hendori). So, what's the good word.

So far, I hate the new 86. Not that it drives bad, but that EVERYBODY is using it online and being total douchebags. I now associate GT86 with douchebag.

Explain? I love the hell out of its balance, just wish it had a bit more power and stronger brakes stock

I did explain. In tons of full rooms doing real racing, gone were all the M3's, NSX's you used to see. In there place are a bunch of 86's everywhere being driven by kids who like to ruin really good races by running the course backward, ramming straight into you when you're in your hardworking, first place RX8.

I shall dedicate all my time online to defeating 86 drivers where ever I find them.

Same thing happened when the Redbull cars were given out...

Not a reason to hate the new 86.

Well, it's not just that. I don't like the real life one either. At least, not until a turbo version is released. I'm sick of all the hype around N/A four cylinders. they need so much work to actually be fast...

Despite its weight (and probably inferior chassis) I'd prefer the 2013 turbo Genesis coupe over the 86, assuming they're in the same price range...

its nice that we can put different wheels on standard cars but a little more of a selection would've been nice. im not asking for forza customization amounts but i really hope Kaz and his group of developers come up with more customization abilities in the next couple updates!!!

Yeah +1 on the wheel selection. I have to say that Forza did it right being able to change the size and width of the wheel. I'd LOVE that in the GT series.

^^^I refused to put TE's on mine. It looks good, but I'm sooo tired of seeing TE's on S-chassis'... I used Advan RGII or Enkei RP03's. I wish you could steal the LMGT4's off the Nismo Z-tune 350Z and put those on a 240... Or the wheels off the Gran Turismo 350Z RS. Those are hot...

Ughhhhh I'm SICK of the wheel selection. GT4 had waaaay more. Other than that, I can see an improvement on the standard cars. They look...shinier haha.

yeah, i like how they had random stock wheels you could use, or special race wheels(iirc takata te37's)

i've jumped back into gt5 lately again and finally hopped online for some drifting and have gotten it down pretty well i guess

I slammed it all the way just for some photos, so I dont know if a proper tune would be this low.


And the Ruf 86 BTR looks awesome with a wing and wheels.

Ditto. I'm using standard cars ALOT more now. Soarer has become my favorite drifter. Cobra Mustang is pretty fast sideways too.

MKIV Supra looks great with RP03's. I got Advan RGII's on my SW20. BBS LM's on my E46 M3's and Subaru STI's. That other mesh wheel (I can't remember the name of it) looks really good in motion too...

Man i miss GT5 soooo bad... my ps3 finally is broken after about the 15th ylod repair ... low on dough so the ps3 is just sitting -__- ive missed soooo mant dlcs that have came out ... but ohhwell i guess its just gonna have to wait.

ok so i bought a ylod ps3 fixed it.. now ive missed over 13 updates ? lol .. when i started GT5 it shows 2 bars the first one with nothing but the % the second with the % and shows 1/13 ??? omg this is gonna take forever... 608 MB
