Hi guys, I just want to bring up an old post because I didn't want to create a new thread.
I have a specific problem regarding my Z32 ebrake swap on my S14. Simply put: My eBrake is looser, unresponsive, and weak. I really have to tug on the eBrake just so I can stop it from moving on a hill. This is what my guy said to me after I got my car back from the shop: Quote:

adjust the engagement point at the drum assembly itself, or possibly replace the drum pads if needed.

there's an adjustment screw on the ebrake assembly that turns to loosen/tighten the ebrake shoes. you can use a screwdriver or get a tool for it at harbor freight. and the the pads he was referring to are called brake shoes they may be worn out
