first car was an 84 mercury lynx wagon, it was a beater in every since of the word

second car was a 91 plymouth laser rs, 2.0 non turbo, but damn its a clean car best time it layed down was a 16.9, but after 1400 in repairs i had to finally give it to my dad and get my 96 240 se my dad drives the laser and he puts bout 150 miles a day on it and has no problems at all!!!

1st car: 1986 Plymouth Voyager - 4cyl Mitsubishi engine.... mmm... nothing like the smell of an over-revving engine with a carb running rich... (3-speed auto transmission = way past red-line to keep up with my friend's Audi 4000S Quattro).
270k miles and still going....

If youre not rich, I wouldnt recommend one for you. They're friggin MONEY PITS!!!! Doesnt matter how good of a condition they're in.....

But the double takes people do when they see a sweet lookin 510 is always rewarding.

I also see many people use to own S12s (200sx) on this board, sweet!

The first car I drove was a 1987 Ford Aerostar. I had to pimp that bitch to school my senior year in high school. It beat the FUCK out of having mommy and daddy take me to/pick me up from school. Heater core went so NO heat in MD winters and A/C was a huge no go...plus it was a fucking minivan.

Fall of 99 I bought a 1999 Daewoo Lanos S ($8k)...what a fucking POS. It was a decent car and pretty fun to drive (my first car that was stick). I blew the headgasket at 10,000 miles. After owning it for 6 months I sold it with just about 12,000 miles on it.

I bought a 00 Civic Si in the spring of 00 and loved the shit out of that car. I owned it for 2 years. I bought a 1990 civic hatchback (biggest POS evAr) with a B16 swap. This car had zero options, was dirty, beat up, etc. I had it for 2 months maybe before selling it. I then bought my 92 240sx, and sold the Si one week before totaling the 240.

I bought the 240 back from the insurance company and put it in my garage. I then bought my 93 del Sol...and that brings me to today.

There's such a difference between the rental car special model and the sport models it isn't funny. Subtle differences.. 18hp here, a rear sway bar there, a dash of 3.94 gears.. it totally transforms the car. Not all Neons are bad at everything. I'd buy another in a heartbeat if something happened to my GTI.

1974 delta 88 oldsmobile with only 19,000 miles on it. I got it from some old lady in her ninties who hadent driven in it since 1981 it was sitting in here garage until i bought it in 97. It was a beast. I still miss it to this day, but it was just such a gas hog and so impractical that i had to give it up to someone who would take better care of her and not use it as a daily driver, plus all i could think about is getting a 240...here i am with my 93 fastback.

1) My 16th b-day present was my '94 Camaro Z28. Greatest first car in the world for any teen. Coming into the high school lot sidewayz always used to get a LOT of attention.

2) My 19th b-day was reality check for me and I had to sell my Z28 (550hp N/A and 10pts on the license) and get a '93 Prelude Vtec. Boy...what a wake up call.

3) Now with only 4pts on the license I sold my Lude and bought the '95 240SX. Time for fun again!!!
