i absolutely love it, its basically all stock except for suspension, rims, exhaust, welded diff, and some interior stuff. but its a blast to drive, so much more fun than my civic was. I think i'll be sticking with the S chassis for a while.

Yeah I have to admit I really miss my s13. I bought a z33 because I was sick of fixing my car after every event and having to compete with people just for parts. I will one day buy another 240.. now is just not the time.

Check you User CP to see your Rep. Only Premies can see who left them Rep, but you can still see what posts have been repped with what comments.

Other than that it a semi-complicated silly system that is explained in this thread:

I never really sold my 240 but I bought a E36 M3 in 2005 with the intention of putting my S14 into deep freeze till I had enough money to fix it up right. I sold the bimmer about 10 months after.

I am slowly coming back.

First car: 93 B13 SE-R Sentra, swapped in a Bluebird SR(FWD turbo) and did some suspension. Sold the car and made a huge profit on it.

Second car: 95 B14 SE-R Sentra, VVL swap and some suspension. Then I had a craving for a 240 so i swapped back the stock stuff and then sold everything.

Third car: 90 Hatch, such a dirty ass car when I first got it, high mileage body and SOHC. Put some wheels, fixed up the SOHC, did some audio. Wasted a lot of my money going out partying and on computers and electronics that I forgot my original goals.

Fourth car: 01 G20 manual(hard to find back then). Wanted a daily while I could make the 240 a track car. After a month it I got into an accident where both front and rear end were damaged.

Fifth car: 06 Sentra Spec-V. Still needed a daily and after the g20 was crushed I sold the 240 to help get down payment. Now I am trying to sell this car now so I no longer am wasting 700 a month on FWD.

Next car? Saving up to import something so in the mean time driving a Chevy truck. NO MORE FWD PLEASE. Might pick up another S-Chassis car soon to go out on the track again.

Fuck thats long.
Moral of story? Don't ever buy FWD, it will never be fun.

Sorry dont have a story about leaving the s-chassis then coming back, but I have to give you a +1 for such a nice 240, as well as keeping the pignose and making it work, it looks (or well looked) really good.

Hmm...I'm pretty happy with my EVO and mine is still bone stock. I would buy another s13 as a track car if I got a good deal on it though.

hehe. I'm looking for another S13 for daily driving. Putting too many miles on the Evo. I've only owned it for a year and I have 22k miles already.

my first car was a 89 240sx back in 1996, put an SR in about 1999 crashed in 2000. almost bought a 1997 se but decided to get a civic cuz of the availability of parts back then. put a 194 whp gsr in the hatch. it was fun and fast but nothing like the 240. sold the civic in 03 and bought a sc300. that car was fun but i sold it in 05 and bought a 1998 240sx. (should have just bought the 97 back in 2000 would have saved my bank account a bit)

I want to buy a newer car i'm tired a little of my 240 but this year I don't know, i take a look into the bmw, and I fix my 240sx during that time and I see how my car run good and I luv to drive it... It feels better and better every time I work on it.

I see this thread and I think i'll keep my car and buy another and keep it as daily and 240sx for w/e..

This is always a question of money.......but you have to do some sacrifices.

i drove the 240 from about 17-20, then it started giving me shit, so i parked it, planning to sell it. i bought a volvo 850 and rolled around in that for a while, then it started having electrical issues, so i sold it. then i bought an infiniti m30 which turned out to be cursed. it's dead now. so now i'm borrowing cars until i rebuild the 240. groan.

Same here. I have an '06 Evo MR and have put too many miles on her. So I just bought a '93 S13 and I'm dropping in an RB25. Should be fun when its done!

bought a 1991 240sx LE fastback[red] from a friend of mine for 900. it was a piece of shit, found another LE, mint condition. as the years go by i modded it. friend curbed it because he said "my lights weren't bright enough," so now it's waiting in the garage waiting to be sold while i drive a boring ECHO.

I'll try to keep my story short.

I bought my first '89 S13 hatch last year in May. Being 17yrs old, with no license, insurance, hell...not even a PERMIT, the car sat for around 6 months before I was finally able to drive it. Paid $2500 for it with no help from my parents. Saved up money for over 4 months with a minimum wage job working 40+ hours weekly.

Here it was super clean and stock.

This car was AMAZINGLY clean as all hell. It took me over 6 months to find one in that condition, but it was well worth it.

Little by little, I modded the car with whatever money I made from my old job. Before the end, this is what my car looked like:

Then, a taxi cab decided to run a red light going at about 45mph and left me this nice dent:

I got mad, so I pretended to be the Incredible Hulk for a second and punched my car:

I ALMOST went with a B13, but I decided against it when I found my current hatch.

'92 S13 hatch w/41k miles(when I first bought it 3 months ago).

Now, after 3 months, it's already had a sex change, almost full suspension, swapped interior, and more.

Here's my cardomain with up to date status.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2649657/1

I love my hatch. The only other car I can ever see myself in at this point is a coupe.

Mmmm. I love me them coupes.
