1. You're broke
2. You're trying to mod your car cheaply
3. Not even 10 posts down there is a thread on this exact same subject

Hmmm

Why not get a job, instead of worrying about doing a clutch swap?

First rule of aftermarket turbo cars: Always buy a beater, or have a job.

PS: If you're focused on school, get a reliable car then.

"Oh I'm going to school to become a doctor, but can't afford a half decent clutch for my car" get a effin job, quit boozin with Lionshead, and buy a Sentra -- TO EASY.

the reason hes a moron is because hes taking a hobby and making it his unreliable daily.

if you need to get to school and that is your main priority you get an automatic civic or corolla to drive every day.

im going to school for accounting and have my automatic s13 coupe for a daily and my hb is what i throw my money into when i have some to spare.

if he wants a cheap clutch get an f1 spec ebay special or go oem.

As before, I get a kick out of a college student not being able to read 10 threads down about a cheap clutch...that's what I get a kick outa.

Heck same applies to when I ahd dirtbikes growing up...I had my fast one, and the little XR80 to putz around on when mine was down, or getting new parts. Working 2 jobs, going to highschool during the day, and spending countless ours reading about turbo systems, fabbing my stuff, and making it work.

Maybe I did come off as dueschy, but in the same respect, I have no tolerence for people who can't think on their own, and do some basic reading. Again, there is a clutch thread not even 10 below his!! If you can sort out the forum, and find the post new thread button, why on earth can't he read, nor search for 10 minutes? I absolutely hate posting new threads as I'm always afraid of reposting something...so I search until no end.

Again: I know when I first got into turbo cars, I was my own source...i read, learned, and went from there. Forums? haha. I just don't get why people today can't do the same with cars...it's like they are helpless at times. Call me a duesch bag, but being self sufficient is something I take pride upon. He plainly states he has no income...that's the first thing I'd fix, not a car.

I don't make any judgement about the poster, but it's extremely hard to give any constructive advice after this.

I always try to help whenever possible but please realise that some people don't make it easy to help them.

This is about a clutch people nothing else. All these posts are irrelevant and therefore not constructive advice.
Constructive advice serves to build on an argument not to break it down. Do not try to analyze my life your not a psychologist.
