LT1 into an S13, wont this have the same weight issues that McKinney Motorsports had?
I mean, when you start talking 350, 400, Lt1 LS1 and all that, its all backwards greek tomei (get it, too me) sorry... regardless cliff notes: Weight, McKinney, Tomei, sorry ![]()

Well, the one LT1 swap I've seen used the heavy, iron cylinder head LT1 from a Caprice/Roadmaster/etc. with a big beefy heavy old school 3-speed automatic. So you'd see some weight added there.
However, the Camaro and Corvette used aluminum head LT1s, and the Camaro has a very nice, beefy, not too heavy aluminum case 6 speed manual attached. Much lighter motor/trans combo. Even better would be the all-aluminum LS1, which is also an all-new, more modern design all around. |

Hmmm
The bumper on the S13 in the first post is AB Flug. Or an AB Flug knock off. After they came out with that bumper 100 companies came out with knock offs.
