^ not true.
some of the old hot-rod guys would use this trick in a pinch. Not saying you can drive it for a day or so, but it will get you to a parts store. Also you can use a snuff can.....that Copenhagen to you city folks. I personally carry a spare trifecta: oil gas radiator.
