Might be different on the s13. Hell, you might have to wire it in. I just know that before I got my wiring specialties harness my a/c worked even though I didn't worry about a/c when converting the harness. I'd wait for someone else to chime in

Your best bet is to use a cody ace kit with your stock parts.. I've got one on my S13 and it works great.

I just realized how hard I derped...

I have a 1996 240 with 1995 Lines and Evaporator... I have the 1996 Evap sitting in my garage... Sorry about that. The 1996 and 1995 Lines only fit with their corresponding evaporator. I had to find that out the hard way.

Good luck, hit me up if you wanna use your 96 lines lol.

I got the line that goes from firewall to compressor from a friend (95) and worked because the one from 96 was smaller. But the line that goes from the condenser to the can looking thing and firewall is from a 96

Well that makes sense. No need to spend the extra money. We know what it's like to spend money on these cars.

I already had the compressor too. Having to Purge the system. Cut the hardlines and have them combined. Then recharge the system and hope the compressor on the clip works after being open to the elements for how long. AC shop quote to cut and use compression couplers then vac and charge the system was way more than the brackets.

With the brackets I just unbolted the KA compressor from the KA. Pull the KA and drop the SR and bolt it back up.

But, the problem at hand. You need the stock lines and the ends on the SR compressor. Then have the SR ends put on the KA lines.

my motor is already in the car...im sure its going to be a pain in the ass to pull out the compressor, put the ace bracket, put the ka compressor that i dont have and hope it lines up with the rest of the pullies.
car did not have lines at all. and such so i would have to vac the system and recharge it either way... and i can get it done for free at my friends job lol
sr lines are on the way. my friend got his made the same way i need mines done for 40 bucks. no big deal. better than me spending 100+ for the bracket and 70+ for compressor and the paint in the ass to get everything in there while the motor is inside the car

I was referring to someone swapping with a car with KA AC working. Why I had the note at the bottom to what needs to be done in your situation.
