I'm glad to see some of the OGs are still active in here. I put my coupe on jackstands 10 years ago, had 3 more kids and started my own business 5 years ago. I haven't been in the game in a very long time and I'm just now coming back around.
Ive sold lots of parts on here to some of you guys and it's great seeing familiar names such as Crimson, MeWantKouki, Tuzzio, e1, Tyler and a handful of others.

Glad to see activity on here after so many years. This was the OG forum where I learned everything about 240s since my first one in high school. After not owning an s-chassis for a while, Im trying to hop back into the seat of an s13. I will post a build thread for old times sake when the time comes.

Take a look at rules and guidelines and see if it mentions time for PM access. I had an account here over a decade ago that is connected to a dead email, I wanted to reach out to some friends. Nobody wants to answer my question just joke and say look at the rules. Already have and no info on PMs. Next time I won't post at all, not like forums could use the extra activity since they've been doing so well in the last decade

This place is so damn nostalgic. So nice to see some OG users posting.

Owning a 240 during the peak of these forums was an unmatched experience. Something about being in your 20's with no real responsibilities, always wrenching on cars, looking for industrial spots to hit up at night. The best of times. My SR threw a rod 9 years ago and the cars been sitting in the driveway since. I contemplated selling the car so many times but could never get myself to. It's like I'm hanging on to my youth with that thing, as odd as it sounds. Decided I'm going to rebuild and give it to one of my future kids someday. Build thread incoming.

Same experience with my car, albeit I've kept it inside and done regular maintenance and obsessive detailing. Hard to let go of that last bit of the old days you have left

I do miss the golden years of forum popularity, but I'm glad this place still exists.
The wealth of knowledge contained in this site is invaluable for people just getting into these cars. I do wish photobucket didn't purge the majority of their images though, because a lot of reference photos are now lost to time.

Maybe traffic will pick up with Reddit's slow downfall.
With the bots, ad's and them going to charge for some sub reddits..

I'm hoping smaller forums with longer factual discussions make a come back. I learned a lot more about things through discussion with groups of people that you continue to talk to and learn their social nuances.

If this place had a 350 section, maybe that would also help modernize it...

I'm still going to document my builds on here, I'm really getting back into it this weekend. I agree, youtube and facebook are decent, but the threads with long technical details and discussions in them, that you can find with a simple search, are the best.

i'm just glad PhotoBucket still works despite the ugly watermark and that Imgur seems to be the new go-to.

Damn, there's so many OG names in this thread. I haven't posted in years, been too busy with other things in life. But I still browse zilvia from time to time when I am looking up something as I slowly piece my car back together. Hasn't been on the road in 11 years.
