I feel there is a very slight resemblance between the two but i have never and will never mistake a s13 240sx for a probe or vice vs. Maybe its just me, but i think that every probe ever made is the ugliest hunk of metal i've ever seen in my life. at nigth in my mirrors i always mistake probes (both models) mx-6 (both) some prorches and all kinds of other things...

mostly, in my rear view i always mistakes new beetles for boxsters.

Back to the haters that claim "insert and domestic here" is crap and breaks down all the time is just another import idiot in my book not a car enthusiast. I work on my car/cars because I like cars I dont care who made it. If it is fast, has potential to be fast, or just looks good I like it. My 240 is my first "import" car that I have built (at least stateside) and the only thing I dont like about it is alot of the import crowd are just plain childish and immature. There is a whole big world out there not just your world. This is not directed at anyone on this board directly more to the attitude in the Import world as a whole, I get just as pissed on the Mustang forums I go to.

yea sure a cobra is fast and can beat many cars... &nbsp;but just because you haven't had some major problems doesn't mean you won't. &nbsp;I've worked on many cars... friends.. customers... and two friends of mine with mustang gts get pissed ( one a 95, one a 00 ) and they try anytihng to get consistant times out of them, but they can't... &nbsp;another guy i know can't keep his cobra running... &nbsp;it has massive mods done to it. &nbsp;yet... my friend with a 10 second eclipse has problems maybe every 6, 7 months... not bad on a 10 second car... My own mother had to learn her lesson with fords... she owned 2 contours, (liked they way they looked for some odd reason) one was a 96 i believe and the other was a 98... no mods... no racing nothing.. i went by the book on both and we had so many damn problems with them.... &nbsp;im not saying this becuase you think im some honda rice imports own fag.. i am telling you what i know from experience.. &nbsp;I never had problems with my civic, altima, or 240sx... &nbsp;i didn't say anything about chevys.. dodge or anything else.. i just think ford is crap and will always think it is. &nbsp;My friend has 3 dodge vehicles... all very slow but nice great running cars... &nbsp;his neon is heavily modded. &nbsp;and no a cobra should be able to kill a WRX.. but a mustang GT should kill my brothers maxima... &nbsp;and just so you know.. my friends are NOT bad drivers and dumbasses... &nbsp;one is a great driver (00 gt) and he wishes he kept his accord. &nbsp;I could go on all day but im not...

We can all only go off personal experiances. I have had 5 differant Mustangs over the years and have yet to have one single problem with one. Either modified or not. Now my lovely 240 (prior to the engine swap) has left me stranded 3 damn times. LOL I also have a POS Escort (wife car) that is driven like crap (again wife car) and that has never given me one problem, as a matter of fact I bought it new in 95 and the rear tires are still original! (need to be replaced soon though) I owned a Skyline in Japan and never really had any issues with it besides problems from the engine swap that dont count. I had a BMW and a Jag when I lived in the United Kingdom and both were big POS! LOL Never did get either one to pass inspection. I dont know what to say to people who do have issues as I dont drive or take care of their cars. I really dont think it matters cars will have problems. Take a look through the tech section at all the question regarding some problem or another with a 240, I had a 69 mustang completely stock that didnt have half the problems. I could also go on all day but I wont. The point I was making is not that one type of car is better but the attitude that any car is better just because of make/where it was made is dumb. Also I will open a challenge to any WRX against my Cobra anytime. A friend of mine here has a silver one and a Mustang he call the Mustang Red and Fast and the WRX Silver and Slow. I do like the WRX though, hopefully they bring a model over that is closer to the Japanese HP levels.
