I bought them because they were cheaper than 555's and I just needed to get my car on the road and they were better than the visa's that came with my tire and wheel package. Now, with that out of the way, the reason I chose them as a cheap alternative is... I have a friend with a supercharged miata who loves his burnouts and doughnuts. And he got excellent wear out of them abusing them at least 5 nights a week, and they still gripped pretty well for auto-x and broke pretty evenly when he wanted to slide. And from what I've observed they held up pretty well. That being said I've enjoyed them so far.

Holy God. That was exactly my point! LOL, thx man.
I know there's lots of other tires, i've heard lots about them. I wanted to try to Neos cuz it seemed like an inventive new tire that fit what I was looking for.... I somehow never let tires live longer than a 1.5 yrs max anyhow.

W00T! 1 whole person who has at least a CLOSE experience :/

I give up.

depending on my $ I guess I'll just stick with the Falkens that I'm comfortable with already, or go MX's *sigh*

yea, sorry on not being able to help. all i can really do is throw tire names out there, haha. the only thing i'm wondering about is why you would go from st-115's to mx's and not consider other cheaper tires. that's quite a big jump in performance. if you are considering the mx's, i just wanna say that you should definitely look at the hankook rs2 z212's. much cheaper and grips just as well.
