James Bond would use a bigger turbo.

Im well aware that i normally cant' use then, being they are sidefeed. I was lookin into 470, or 550s.

Now i just gotta find a good turbo. Many say GT30R, any T3, maybe even 3/4 hybrid.

Thanks for all the help people! My setup is set in wet concrete for now. Pretty much solid, but will allow fuckups.

New input, T25, T28, GT3071, GT32, T3/4? Or any other turbos?

I see my post didn't clear things up for you in the faq huh?

650's aren't too big, I have 720's in my SOHC.

I still think a T2 based turbo is a waste of time and money, when it'll have to be replaced not too far off. You would do just as well to buy a Z31 T3. Although I still think used turbos are more hassle than they are worth.

If you want easy injectors to work with though get top feed high impedence T2(FC) 550cc or 460(RX7 NA) injectors. You can easily find them for less than $150 and they'll get you up close to 300-350 rwhp.

My .02, if you have any questions that the faq doesn't answer let me know.

I was about to use a T2 cuz its was 25bucks, its just 25 bucks. Oh well, i've reconsidered alot of parts, removed things i didn't need, etc etc. 720s are going to be my new injector size, and more crap.

After writing the FAQ, and further researching, i've got a decent prototype build. Fine Tuning will take place once all the parts are gathered.

Thanks for all the support/opinions/suggestions for SRs

Just don't forget you'll need a standalone to control those injectors, in my case I'm using an AEM.

Im planning on doing an sohc buildup when I get the money to rebuild my spare ka. I have a pretty good idea of the setup Im going to use.

CP Pistons 8:1
Safc2 with wideband
FC 440's
t3/t4 .63 a/r
gasket kit and timing kit from hybridka
SSA FMIC kit
Home-made "Earls" oil feed and return
And Im still trying to decide if I should use OEM bearings or Clevites.

Anyone have input on this? Im looking to just make around 250whp for daily use, but I want the motor to be able to do like 300 whp.

SAFC2 and wideband. Or, i'll just borrow my bro's PowerFC.

If only that was an option...

SAFC is not enough for 720's. They can't control anything bigger than 550's w/o a reflashed ecu.

you also have to remember that your t25 is a bottom mount instead of a top mount like most t3 type snails and most of your manis are top mount aftermarket for the sohc. so unless you are going to make your own mani go with a bigger turbo that is top mount. 25 bucks is a great price and my buddies 240 ran a t25 because a bottom mount was easy to find for the dohc. yea it boosted low but it was at like 1700 and pulled all the way to 5500 where our 240s make their peak hp not too shabby for a stock block dohc, t25,fmic,sr injectors, wharlboro 255 pump, safc, wideband, maf from a 90ish maxima (vg30) {which you might want to look into if you are going low impedance injectors because they are cheap and very effective} it took out the everyday gen3 camaro with ease and all the stock 350z around town. also took out a fd 0-90mph not all stock dp's and full exhaust clutch, flywheel and some other misc stuff. thats my 2 cents. good luck beside if you find rx7 440's they will work perfectly for your ecu and fuel management as well with hp desires check ebay for cheapies
