you're just using the wrong intuition. haha. think about 4 small tubes coming off an airbox or plenum.. they'll have equal pressure across them and since the tubes are smaller, they'll retain that pressure better than a single larger tube.

The rebar will fit but it has to be cut in at least two splaces I believe....the center (where most ppl cut it on those traditional FMICs) and the hot side needs a piece cut out to clear the pipe...
