try working on a sr20de s14 motor, that you got out of the junk yard. yes it is easy to work on BUT parts are motha to find!!! i just found a S14 srDE harness and ecu but damn i had this engin for a year or so now it just pisses me off when i have to get a damn valve cover gasket for 50 bux from cali. i just wanted a ka... diid i say that out loud.. whoops. i mean it would be so stupid easier to work on.. thats just my 2 cents

Thats not how easy it is to work on.. thats convenience of part availability. 2 different topics, buddy.
Shoulda considered that before purchasing JDM tyte-ness. It's why I backed off from an RB25DET swap.

look at it this way it was only 315 for a new power house (ie tranny , altinator, p/steering, p/steering lines) and i know it would only have a small amount of miles comared to the ka24e's in the junker. so SR it is but lil did i know about the parts i had to fabracate
