try working on a sr20de s14 motor, that you got out of the junk yard. yes it is easy to work on BUT parts are motha to find!!! i just found a S14 srDE harness and ecu but damn i had this engin for a year or so now it just pisses me off when i have to get a damn valve cover gasket for 50 bux from cali. i just wanted a ka... diid i say that out loud.. whoops. i mean it would be so stupid easier to work on.. thats just my 2 cents

Thats not how easy it is to work on.. thats convenience of part availability. 2 different topics, buddy.
Shoulda considered that before purchasing JDM tyte-ness. It's why I backed off from an RB25DET swap.

look at it this way it was only 315 for a new power house (ie tranny , altinator, p/steering, p/steering lines) and i know it would only have a small amount of miles comared to the ka24e's in the junker. so SR it is but lil did i know about the parts i had to fabracate but the good thing is that people know me as that one guy with the SR20DE non turbo

Oil filter's not that hard just lower the car down if its on the jack.
