Yeah, Feddys don't stretch as much, and kinda run wide. I've got a 225/40/18 on an 18x10 out back right now. I'd run the 225/40 before a 235/40, lol.

Eventually, after these Kumho 712s in 245/40/18s that I got for $20 burn up, I'm getting a pair of FK452s in 235/40/18. Going on a 10.5J.

i have some BF Goodrich g-Force 225/40zr 18 and some Es100 245/45 18

i want to run the the 225 but dont know if anyone has stretched BF goodrich tires on an 18x10.. imput? anyone running stretched g-force tires?

should i play it safe with the es100 or strech the BF's?

let me know and ill throw them on and post pics tomorrow

Actually they do stretch, a lot. Did you miss the part where I said my 225 35 18 are on an 11" wide wheel?

heres some nankangs on a 10. 235/40/18

and....i think it was a dunlop on this, i dont remember, but it was a 215/40 on a 9.
and you can see teh 10 off to the side.

I think what he meant is that they don't look very stretched, despite being able to stretch.

Kind of the opposite of how a ZE-512 looks small even un-stretched.

255 will be almost no stretch..If you want a mild stretch you should run 245 and 235 if you want a really agressive stretch,

yea... loll, i've got 10.5's with rt615's that run bigger then most tires and they're 255's and you can notice the stretch on a 10.5 pretty well.

I'm going with Z33 and fusion....18x11 Works will measure obviously 11 inches wheel width where the tires bead mounts. Looking at gen. tire specs, 255/40/18 has a tread width of 9.0 inches so you are looking at approx. 1 inch of stretch from each side of the wheel inner edge.

I'm working on getting 275/35/18 onto Equips 11.5 inches wide...10 inch tread width so it will have a similar stretch as what slammed180 is looking to do.

They're shitty used Kumho 712s though... they were more narrow than the 235/40/17 Feddy 595s lol

by the way it all depends on the size of the tire wall..., if he puts a 255 /40 it will be almost no stretch,it will round off a bit but thats it..

depending on tire's, i had 255's on mine and it looked like no stretch,
255's will be a super mild stretch.. 245's would be a mid stretch and 235's would be a more crazy stretch.. very simple, what i posted was right. now he can decide what stretch he wants
