On the subject of the wall, I agree with Phlip. It was asinine to believe he would make a foreign country pay for the wall.


I have major doubts now he will get it built since the omnibus bill specifically excludes funds for said wall.

I think it is a setup. They specifically included the language to get his panties in a bunch, which seems to happen so easily. Then he takes to doing stupid shit like included in the link with which I bumped this thread this morning. THEN he actively attempts to do some shit that, constitutionally, he cannot do.
Then, in the shame of having accomplished next to nothing he said he would in the campaign trail, they get to primary him if he hasn't resigned before 2020.
Personally, I prefer him being primaried and/or losing an election to him resigning and landing us with any amount of time in a Pence presidency.

1) the tax bill is sunsets in 2025 for everyone but the top 5%. Not permanent. Also, there is a good chance those same savings just evaporated after the 1.3 Trillion spending bill. Essentially, they were banking on folks seeing a minor increase in their paycheck until right after 2018 midterms. Who is going to pay for all this spending since now earnings are negative for the tax cut?? To be entirely honest, $100 is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. Now, does it help individuals?? abso freacking lutely. No denying that for sure. Is it permanent?? I wouldn't bet on it
Remember; your health insurance for instance is still going up (just one example). And the reason it is continually increasing is not solely based on the ACA. That's a fact.
Your monthly increased intake will evaporate very quickly.

P.S Those Tarriffs trump lackadaisically signed?? Drove up metal costs some 12%- 30% literally immediately based off which metal is in question (and that is taking into account US production). Yeah, those super Rays wheels just went up in price. Yeah, $100 just evaporated in shipping costs........And no, the US production will never suffice the commodity deficit. Also, we have a trade positive with Canada (which trump lied to the Canadian president about..........and I have no idea why lied about it!)

2) Still no where close to what the top percent is making in regards to the tax plan. Still lopsided.

But either way, my point is; trump lies. Simple. Pivoting to taxes, Obama and how many tattoos Chris Brown has was never the topic of discussion.

The costs of the tariffs will be met with an increase in the costs of EVERYTHING dependent on those raw goods, which is eventually every. fucking. thing. The argument could become "well more people will buy American," but the fact remains that buying American for these kinds of things has always been noticeably more expensive.
So everything people THINK they got back on the GOP Tax $cam will be offset by the increase of the cost of everything we want and need.

Well, I haven't felt any of trumps mistakes all of you leftist complain so much about. What I did feel was the penalty I was charge with when I did my taxes this year. It adds up after a few years, and this year it really bothered me. But it can't be obama's fault, right?

And honestly I was never a big fan of him, but seeing how the loosing candidate keeps acting so long after loosing, I think we made the right choice.

It's 695 or 2.9% whichever is higher. So that equates to $58 a month, way cheaper than if you actually purchased insurance. And better yet, when you go to the ER or a doctors visit, you can kindly pass off the bill to the tax payer as by law, no hospital can turn you away. Great, thanks for being the tax burden which necessitated such a change and what all the trump supporters complain about.....essentially themselves indirectly

....In all honesty they should have charged what would be equivalent to the lowest health insurance premium so atleast people properly pay their way

HRC has been out of the lime light until a few weeks ago. I would also be pissed if I learned the election was essentially tosses by data mining by Cambridge Analytica because people have inherent biases...again non starter about HRCs behavior
