No one likes yu yu hakusho? The dark tournament saga has some SICK, sophisticated, no b/s battles, I love that show.

That's so old school (In a good way). I remember watching that in Grade 9, circa 1995.

Best half hour of anime ever = Voices of a Distant Star

Old but favorite OVA = Macross Plus

Wicked CG, but hard to understand = Macross Zero

I really should get Grappler Baki Season 2 and just skim through the fights.

Well, Macross Plus is generally older compared to other stuff (It came out in 1997)

Vampire Hunter D, both the original and the one that came out a few years ago (Bloodlust) are both pretty good.

Wolf's Rain sucks imo. Boring as heck.

If you're a fan of giant robots/Batman: The Animated Series, you should check out The Big O

Witch Hunter Robin is also one of my favorite series.

I'm not watching anything now. Naruto is still on fillers (216, I believe) I was watching Witchblade, but that was really meh.

Just watched the entire series of Big O. Norman the butler is much more bad ass than Alfred IMO.

I think you're the first person I've ever hear saying he didn't like Wolf's Rain.

The Giant Robo OAV series still imo one of the best mecha animes ever.

Robin was ok but doesn't make my top list though.

Initial D.
I watched that series before it got big in North America, and I really liked it since wayyy back.
I always say to my friends (which I believe is true) that Initial D isn't really about racing or cars, but it's about life. It's about growing up, maturing, and learning.

Ippo + Dempsey Roll = win.

did anybody ever watched the street fighter anime that went on for like 24 eps? damn wat a waste of time lmaooo. i didnt think wolfs rain dragged that much. a show that did drag that i had to let go was samurai 7. i was falling asleep every so often watching it which is not good

I watched all of the Street Fighter animes, all good/bad

The series (24 eps one) was pretty good honestly. Unfortunately my friend who I borrowed them off of didn't have the last 6 or so episodes, but I enjoyed them.

Street Fighter: The Movie wayyy back in 1994 was one of the first things that got me re-hooked on anime again. I love SF, and I really like the movie.

Street Fighter Alpha was pretty ok. Great art, but I didn't really like the kid, and the story was strange.

Street Fighter Generations (came out a couple years ago) I saw the premiere of it at EVO2K5 tournament. It was terrible.

Evagelion for serious viewing (Shingi just gets to emo sometimes)
Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo are some good shows as well

I know what you mean, I was kinda bummed when I found out it was an OAV and not a regular series. But, hey free Anime, I can't complain.

ergo proxy is real different. definitely not for everyone. i loved it though. ending was good but a bit rushed.

Dragon Ball Z is better than anything else here. not the whole series just the Kid Buu Saga.. its the best its climax the best ever. have not seen anything better than that/
