Off topic...Does anyone know of an online game or THE game of 4x4 offroad trucks arcade game from back in the day (like 10-15 years ago...)? The graphics were somewhat 3-D, but more like Super Nintendo. I believe the game was 3-4 players, each wheel working off the same screen (which displayed the whole track). The main colors for the trucks were red, blue, yellow, and metallic I think. If anyone knows what game I'm talking about, please tell me! That game was the shit!

I like to think of the game as Mario Kart (GC or NDS version) with real cars. The only difference is that you cant decide when to use an item and the drifts don't help you maintain speed.

im on once in a while, the game gets kinda boring after a while because you only have 2 missions per level, and i think im like lvl 36-37 now so it takes a while to lvl. maybe after a while they will add more missions to the game. maybe when the new city is released.

Im currently lvl 31 and I decided I want to get an Above coupon by myself so i whip out the 240 and pwn all the lvl 8~ noobs in the free arena... its fun til someone comes with an ae86 (V2) and completely destroys me and im like 20 lvls highers and yes i have lvl 31 parts on with rims wing boost and aero.

i heard in the future, to upgrade ur car from V1 to V2, you need to buy GCoin and use that. Here's the korean version of the game and what kind of cars are in store:

my MR2 is so underpowered and cant keep up on the straights at lvl 30 (changing cars at 31 provided i get a coupon)

i have the IS350 style car, forget what its called but it performs really nice, plan on keeping it till i get the GTR at lvl 41 (currently 37)

so i could theoretically have a V9 240? that would be pretty cool.

because my IS350 with level 37 upgrades has about 600-650 points but my 240 with the same upgrades has about 300.

by upping the V level to V9

Which turns out to be
267 Acceleration
198 Speed
124 Durability
225 Boost

Compare that to a real V9 car like a Gigas (lambo diablo)
150 Acceleration
262 Speed
115 Durability
273 Boost

its not that bad. we'll out accelerate it, our top speed wont be as high but hell take a while to get there. just race in an area with a lot of turns

Currently the rate of buying G coin is $1 for 10. I don't know if the going rate for the game will be 1 V level / 1 G coin but if it is, it'll be real awesome.

I'm only willing to pay around $20-$30 overall.. i think its worth it.


In other news, i completely smoked an Unlimit today (Solstice, V4) with my 240...

i was there from 8:00 - around 8:45 and i left my account on at B8 while i went to the gym, a couple people joined.

Easy Solo HUV EXP Guide in CRAS

1) Go to Station 1 in Cras. Use it so that when you reset, you respawn there.


2) There should be a series of 3 Trees and poles then an empty space then another series of 3 Trees and poles. Park there and wait for HUV call.


3) HUV should spawn in Cras Seaside Apartment 1st Complex. If it didn't, you've failed. As you can see from the map, its a long straightaway. 99.9% of the time, the HUVs will turn left then turn another left going giving you another long straight away. I usually kill 3-4 before they turn though.

4) Once you finish killing them, press escape and go to Server selection


5) You will end up in the Driver Dome, Reverse and choose Channel 1.


6) Right away you'll get a call for another HUV chase, drive to the spot again before accepting.


7) Rinse and repeat

kn1ves: how much exp do you get from that little huv hunting trick?

ive found that i get a decent amount racing other people (150~exp per race and around 450 money).

and ill go ahead and leave my acc on at B8 first floor while i go to the gym so join and ill approve later when i get home.

depends how many HUV... to my memory its like 108exp for 2 HUVs takes no less than 1 and a half minutes for me to do that. theres also very little in between time. once you exit and reenter server, you get another call right away.

i had some "image burn in" or whatever you call it from the static hud.

i haven't really played since last week because i didnt want to make it worse, lol.

nope, no problems here. i have a samsung 226bw btw. the only thing it does is stretch the image because my monitor is widescreen.

anyways, i made a lvl 70 speed part and it wont let me sell it
