Seriously, they are both 20mm fenders and the vents are obviously different. How did you not see that?

Edit: Damn, you were talking about the rears. I look dumb now. Hahahaha.

uh oh, I think ThatGuy just got

Reading comprehension FTW!

(just playing around, please don't ban me )

but to get back on topic, I'm not sure what the difference is besides the gas cap. they look a little different, but can't pick anything specific.

Hahaha. I fail!

In that case, it appears one covers more of the panel then the other one does. Type II seems to wrap around above the tail lights, similar to the Chargespeed fenders. Pictures aren't the greatest.

My appologies for misreading the first time.

type ii has a weird gtr style step and it does wrap around more like the chargespeed

simbas car with type ii. i think he said the coupe has a more aggressive step than the hatch, which he posted some pics of on a different forum

nobody has mentioned ait b-magic overfenders yet. I got some, just waiting on new wheels. Not sure bout the individual price, but I got a 8 piece kit for just under $1000 (carbon fiber front fenders too). Test fit seemed pretty good. This brings up a question ive been meaning to ask though. Do most people cut out the quarter panel underneath? If so, how much? I was thinking about cutting pretty much all of it, just leaving enough to rivet on the overfender and keep the strength. Mainly for weight reduction. This would probably destroy the wheels if it got hit in that spot though. I guess id just be carefull, lol.

Anybody got any pics of an S13 coupe with aero and either 30 or 50mm rear overfenders and the stock spoiler?? Im trying to decide whether or not I want to keep it or shave it when I do all that stuff.

Do most overfenders sit lower than the factory panels? I see many people tuck with overfenders, even 17's, so I'm curious, because with only pulled stock fenders I can't even really tuck 18's.
Which overfenders go pretty low?

They are called coilovers.

Yeahhhh...and they're all the way down in the tube with the bottom collars removed.

Seriously though, I'd like to know if overfenders really do sit lower than factory panels, or is it mainly a matter of how people install them?

The ones I've seen sit lower but not enough for anyone to notice. Like literally a centimeter lower, if that.

you can adjust the way the overfender fits in regards to the wheel by mounting it to the body where you want it
