Here is a good front shot with it lowered another 1/2 inch or so.
![]() And in the front I have Stance Coilovers, Tien Tie Rods so far installed. I have a ton of more parts to still install but I am waiting till I am dropping my motor in to do it as the car will be on jack stands at that point. |

The title of "FIRST TO ROCK 345's" is still open...
Zilvinites are maturing and getting better jobs everyday, it's just a matter of time.

i hope to do with my v8 swap but not anytime soon, i bet by the time i do the v8 swap someone woulda already done it. In fact I think that purple wheel S13 already has that with 18x13 rears... i think they were 335s though not 345

345/30/18 on 18/10.5 cobra rims
![]() ![]() ![]() Proof you don't have to go nuts on wheels to get the rubber. But 18x14 CCWs would be nice! 18x13 wheels with 345/30s. Wheels started off as 9.5" width, and had em widened by 3.5" by weldcraftwheels ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You are actually pretty limited in rubber for 345s. These are all drag radials on mustangs, but Michelin makes the pilots for the vipers, and there's always Hoosier!

Same wheel set up. Though I will say I'm going to start working on my "OEM" wide front fenders tonight because the current ones are bent to hell from the wheels rubbing on them since the car is lower than it used to be.. I also have a 3/4" pull on the rear fenders. 17x10 +25 FN01RC's with 275's would clear stock fenders all day.

Not a bad idea...can't wait to see the final product. How do you plan on combining the two? Cut and weld I assume? How much clearance are you gaining...15 to 20mm? |

Yeah the top layer is getting welded in place then grind down the welds, bondo to smooth everything out then cut out the inside, presto stock looking +20ish front fenders that dont totally suck.
I'll measure once I finish them but I'd guess 15-20mm is about right. I'm getting a d/s fender friday. I would do it this weekend but dont have the time, so I'll have an update on it in 2 weeks. Probably end up running a 15mil spacer up front untill I get 10" FN's to replace the 9"s with. |

haha as is always the case
But honestly 255 NT05's are more than enough for 300hp (which I dont even have yet!). If I ever decided to go to NT01's I'd be in heaven. I like my steering to still be some what responsive. I can hardly move the wheels more than 1/2 turn when the engine is off already. Plus 275-40-17 is a shit tire size. If they ever make a 275-35-17 tire I'd be all over it. |
