Have somebody bring your car to Tech School if you can. Just make sure its taken care of, would suck to PCS to your permanent base and your car cant make it there from Tech School.

You cant drive till after hours, having a car is a good thing...fastest way to get away and you make some friends since everybody and their mom wants a ride. That may be a good thing and a bad thing. Bad thing, everybody wants a ride. Good thing, you make alot of girl friends who wants to hang out.

I went to tech school twice at Keesler...2nd time around, I was cross training with my car...shit was better since I can drive everywhere. Mardi Gras in New Orleans pre-Katrina was the shiznit!!!

as soon as i was out of basic, my car was on a flatbed on its way. fuck that walking nonsense. dallas is way too much fucking fun

I love tech school. Some people in our schoolhouse got busted for smoking spice and underage drinking over the weekend and now we all got remedial training on Saturday.

Anyways to the OP, wish I would've seen this earlier, would've told your ass to do 1N1. I'm cross-training into that in a couple of years. It has x7 re-enlistment bonus (or did) and is constantly critically manned because people get out to go work for government agencies that pay more.

hell no, the cadets have AMT's which are kinda like our MTL's in tech school and they are enlisted as well. they teach them respect for enlisted, even a AB outranks a cadet.
cadets have a shitload of respect for us, suprised the hell out of me. I get doors held open for, they tell me good morning sir whenever they pass me in the hallway.
I actually work in the cadet area, 3d032 cyber sys operations.
basically a network admin for both the .mil network and we have a .edu network for the academy.
there are also 1n's and the like here at the hospital and the various clinics on base for us and the cadets.
then you have enlisted all at the MPF and such.

and i easily see 5-10 officers a day, at least one full bird colonel a day and they are all really nice haha, super respectful.

also, you forgot about peterson haha i could have very well been stationed there when i said im stationed in CO springs. So theres a lot of enlisted AF here actually, I can go into a walmart without seeing someone in uniform.
