Dude I've even called the Nissan dealerships in Hawaii asking if they've seen a purple 240SX. I'm still so fucking bummed it was sold from underneath me. I was so fucking close.

Not rare, but not too common either. 4973 units produced in this color.

It's really hard to tell from the pictures but this looks like Purple Grey Pearl, LK0. I contacted him but no reply, it may be gone it may not. If anyone has any luck on contacting him let me know!

![]() My vin says JN1 as well as title. It's legally registered. It is a 4 lug early model 95 hardtop? Color in door jambs looks like Blue Emerald, or Cobalt Green. The paint on it is flaking and coming off and the oem paint is showing through. Any idea what color this is?
Sorry I can't figure out how to post pictures mobile. Still newb to the forum. ![]()

You are not looking at the paint code. JN1 is the first 3 characters of your VIN#.
J = Japan N = Nissan 1 = Car Blue Emerald paint code is #FN2, you'll find it on the plate on the firewall.

Definitely keep seeing one of the lighter purple s13s in Chicago. Might be a frost and it appears to be in good shape. I'm always going the opposite direction so I haven't been able to get a good luck. Also, proud owner of a 1997 Silvermoss with original factory light leather, 5 speed, ABS.

Bought a cobalt green, 5 spd 97 se back in 2000. Sold it in 2009. Stupidest financial decision ever. Bought a red, auto, 97 se a few months ago. Now I miss my old car. Might just paint this bitch green. Red isn't high on my list of liked colors.

My sister had a silver moss 97. I really liked the color at first, as it would really change and shimmer with different colors a lot with the light. But I look back at pictures of it and don't quite love the overall beige/tan look (it was all stock and fairly trashed though too, so we didn't mind selling it)

Guys. Help me put the 1K4 thing to rest.
Japanese Classics claim that only 2,077 of these things were made. From what I understand, the basecoat is Concord Gray and when it fades over time it looks purple...kind of like the Mist Blue fades to look like a standard silver over time. Is 1K4 really listed as a purple?

#1K4: Purplish Silver Two-Tone (#LH1/#463) - 2077 cars
Basecoat is called Misty Blue Metallic (#LH1) in America. It basically replaced Platinum Blue Metallic (#KG1).

Lavender Frost is still the best OG color IMO.
So you're not gonna ruin it...right?
