my name is emmanuel, from orlando fl, im new to the 240 world, i just traded my 93 si hatch for a 91 s13 hatch, theres a lot of things i want to do to it, but cant make up my mind yet, to eighter a rb25det, or a sr20det, i would really like the rb 25 but dont know if it would b complicated being that im doing the work myself, also not sure about what front end i want, s15, s14 couky or buy a custom headlight set so they dont flip up, i would really appreciate all the help i could get, or any ideas, pls show them to me

I'm new, well I've been a member for a little while. I've been lurking around in the forums and reading a lot. Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Alex like my screen name, just got my first 240sx as a project from my buddy Schuyler and Roo so that is in the works. It's a 91 hatch and has a spun bearing needs some body work and a lot or cleaning.

My plans:
Eaton m62 supercharged KA24DE
Tokiko Shocks with RSR springs (thanks Schuyler)
Z32 brakes/5 lug
Mild interior upgrades, (new seats with reapholstered rears to match, new carpet, power sliding spoiler type moonroof, refinished dash/maybe flock, HUD maybe.

No body kits or spoilers here, I just want to make the car look like it did when it rolled off the show room floor in 1991. With a little better performance.

I plan on fixing the body, repainting and adding a few mods for now
so far I picked up a stock s15 turbo, godspeed intercooler kit, rota grid rims and other little parts.
I plan on getting good set of coils and possibly building the KA later.

I joined zilvia not long after I bought my car because I needed new motor mount brackets. I was surprised and grateful to see how many people own 240's. Car is black in color, blacked out tailights, custom black suede interior, 5% tinted windows, It has the rb25det swap, t3 t4 turbo, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, hks BOV, front mount intercooler, tien springs, kyb struts, bitc*in thing has no power steering but who needs power steering when ur goin sideways hah i pretty much find myself dumping money into it every month bc its what i love to do, i havent taken it to the track yet, but would like too, i plan on getting a few more mods for it before i go n get it tuned, bc right now shes runnin pretty rich. Im a Christian and regularly attend Daystar Christian Fellowship, im worknig with small groups pastor to start a christian car group, and eventually i would love to start a ministry based race team.

My name is Tim and I'm from New Zealand (NB: It's the country just south of Australia - Many years ago some the brighter Australians grew tired of drinking bad beer in a can and paddled here in a Waka.)

I have just completed a SR swap into a 180sx to replace the ageing CA18DET. The plan is to build it up into a tidy street car running some oldschool HKS goodies. I already have an ostentatious S13 to slide in, so the 180sx needs to stay a tidy street car.

Anyway I was just wondering if you guys would be interested in a build thread for both cars. Among the interesting things coming up we've got an EBC & HKS gauge install, attempting to road tune an old HKS FCON with a GCC and consult software, messing with a PowerFC to try and get it going and we are also going to try and relocate the 180sx headlight motors down into the bumper when fitting a part shop max intercooler kit.

Let me know if you guys are keen on a thread and I'll throw something together over the next few nights.
