You forgot the downpipe, intake. I dunno how the MAF sensors work, but that. I would suggest a intercooler, i dunno how good the stock ones are, i have a HKS FMIC, You might want a a 3inch exhaust, but that could wait, its always good to have some guages, so you know whats going on with the motor...

I would go front mount as well. You don't really need it with the stock turbine but you need a intercooler if you are switching from na to DET anyway. If you ever upgrade the turbo you'll be glad you already have the frontmount. Also it will save hassle later with the front clip.

I don't really think those are neccessary..

If you don't have a turbo timer you just gotta let the car idle for a minute or 2..

And if you are boosting doign the summer with the AC on, your askign for trouble.

i personally don't even have my AC hooked up, don't know if im going to either..... Do it 240 style, "2 windows down doing 40 mph"

Find a cheap junkyard intercooler and get some custom piping. Saabs and Volvos have front mounts, or you can get an MKIII SMIC, most say it is more efficient than the stock SR SMIC.

Then later on down the road get one of the $800+ fmics

Be your own turbo timer and listen to song after your done driving, but if you are the type to be a last minute person just get the timer.
Some guages would be nice too (if someone already didn't say that)

Check out this intercooler. This guy makes them...and they look sweet as hell. This is what I'm getting when I start to buy my turbo peices.

Don't, whatever you do, get a MKIII smic. It is the most aweful piece of **** around.

and finally:

What do they all have in common? 3psi pressure drop at only 6.8psi. That's DAMN NEAR HALF OF YOUR BOOST LOST!
Anyway.. nobody, ever say that the MKIII IC is good.
