SR sensor/switch on the tail of the 240sx tranny by the shifter

never figured what that switch was for, anybody knows what it does? lets see we got the speed sensor (plastic gear thingy) and the backup light switch, yah i know what those 2 do. but that third im not to sure of.

i think it is the neutral switch. Im trying to think if i even i have it hooked up or not.

VSS, neutral position, reverse switch,5th gear position, and on S13s there's also a 4th gear position switch. All you need are VSS and if have reverse lights the reverse switch.

i went and looked on mine and i didnt even have a 3rd sensor. Guess that explains it.

3rd sensor is not on JDM tranny, but is on North american S13 trannies.
