If it's for daily driving only, why not just get some springs and KYB AGX?
If you want low and daily driving, just get some Megan Racing street coils. Cheap and gets the job done. |

I agree with him, if the car is SOLELY for daily driving, why get coil overs? If you're going to get coils for DD, why not just get some cheaper ones that do the job just as well?
+1 for Megan Racing. If you want to spend a little more, you could get KTS.

I agree with them. You don't need pillow ball mounts on a daily driver, stock (new) rubber bushings would be ideal on the street. You will lengthen the life of your suspension components this way, and you can get a nice ride with a good combo of struts and springs.
Choose KONI and a good spring manufacturer. Anyway, if you can't change your mind, good luck on the coilover choice. I haven't had experience with either.

Maybe he means daily driven, but weekend tracked?
If so, I can vouch for the silkroads being some sweet sweet sex. Soft when they need to be, but hard like monsters when your aggressive. Plus you can slam the car to the rails and put the camber way out for extra JDM freshness. |

*side note
Problem with Silkroads is they are "Mad TyTE JDM!!!!1" which means rebuilding or replacing them is a painful affair as you have to send your coilover to Japan, the JDM's tinker with it then have to send it back to you, all in the meanwhile your car is without a suspension. I cannot speak for Apexi on this matter. |

Odd, my friend had to get a RM/A8 rebuilt a few weeks back and he had to send it out to Japan. I know of their US branch, but I do not believe (to the best of my knowledge from contacting them) that they do rebuilding there.
But, if they do, that's just yet another reason why Silkroad is teh win. Let's Silkroading. |

I spoke with silkroad-us a week ago, and they said that they 'haven't had to rebuild one yet," but they can't service them in the US. They do still have to be shipped to Japan.

Shocks and springs suck on the S14. You S13 guys can get away with it but the travel on S14's is less and the shocks blow out. After going thru 2 sets of shocks I found it cheaper to buy coils.

I remember one of the Redline Shift guys said that his S14 Megan coilovers didn't lower enough in the rear, so that's probably the same for the Apexi EvX. |

I love my silkroads on my daily... set at 3 up front and 5 in the back,Theyre surprisingly forgiving on shitty patches of road. and they make my car handle like nuts, even with all other original suspension bushings n stuff.
