Wheel hop is back!
Had rear subframe spacers on for about a week. When I first installed, it got rid of wheel hops, particularly on the uneven corner surfaces. But now the wheel hop is back.
Does this mean that the subframe bushings got even more smaller due to spacers and that spacers are not doing their job? |

I love my spacers. They made a big difference. Make sure it's still tight and then start checking out other parts of the suspension.

8-10 hours, come on. It's like 2.5hrs max! Or maybe it's just because of all these damn altima's, maxima's, and Z's.

I wouldn't say that you wasted $60 considering those spacers will prevent your subframe from shifting, making your rear end feel more stable. And keep in mind $60 is a bargain for subframe spacers to begin with. It's always good to stay optimistic. What suspension are you running? Poor dampening could be the cause of your wheel hop.

You are right on your own. But it doesnt feel any more stable than before installing the spacers.
Have megan coilover. Is there anything I can do about this besides retorquing the subframe? |

did you inspect the subframe bushings before the spacer install? Might want to check that, cuz the spacers won't help much if the rubber they're trying to compress isn't there to do so. Worn bushings on the suspension arms can also cause wheel hop, inspect those too. Shoot back here if you find something. Hope this helps. BTW, I have spacers too. Full circle aluminum and everything but the lower A arm is heim joints and I still get a small bit of wheel hop in the tight stuff and I'm running Megans too.

There were bushings left in the subframe.
Now I'm assuming that the bushings have completely collapsed. Well... thanks for the advices. I will inspect other bushings in the area. |
