There seem to be 2 different types...one w/ plastic in the middle and then there are the ones that look totally clean.

No plastic in the middle

With the middle plastic

Whats the deal w/ that? Is it year specific different trims levels or what?

They're the same thing.. Just with painted inner tabs I bet.

There is only one type. When they get repainted usually the plastic insert isnt masked off. So thats why it stands out on all other kouki's except black. That one up top probably has factory paint.

Yeah, I hear ya but I'm thinking that might not do it for me. Maybe I will return it and get a JDM one but I'm not sure if that would look right with a USDM bumper cover and lip.

uras n+ comes with grill delete, or it seems there's an optional fang style grill delete (the one thats coincidentally on that maruta-goya s14 above) and is also on the uras version IV demo car. the fang delete or no grill at all fucking rules. oem grill is ugly crapola!

I LIKE the US Kouki grill. I also like the JDM Kouki grill. Some of the bumpers, like pictured above have a grill delete that mimics the 99+ Mustang grill style.

I cant afford Kouki yet sadly so I guess I dont have to worry, however my plans are as follows.

US grill, OE JDM bumper + OE amber lamps, OE Zenki skirts and JDM Kouki rear bumper. I dont understand why no one likes the US grill, it looks very nice as long as the rear support tabs are removed or properly masked off before paint.

i tested a usdm grill in my kouki front this weekend, it was completly mad gross with uras bumper.
