i thought i read somewhere that like hot import nights is coming to chicago in june sometime.. or was it july ... anyone have an exact date on this thing.. and anyone going.. ??

should this have been in events and meets?

yes there is a meet coming up. Its this saturday, and its not HIN, its Import Expo. It'll be better than HIN. You will get to see the Chincatown R34, FnF RX-7, this one guy from RX7 Forums who has a very nice Rex (saw it in person). Plus there will be R/C car racing, hot girls, Natasha Yi won't be there, Im so sad <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='

HIN is June 29th I believe, I doubt I will go, too much money spending on Car shows, and I didn't like last years any way. Import Expo wil be bettwe plus its near my house. Import Expo is in the Donald Stephens Center in Rosemont.

Who on this board is going to be going there?

P.S. it'll be moved to Events and Gathering before you know it.

the FnF RX-& has a big ass dent over the drivers side rear fender.  it looks real nasty,atleast it did when i was at the NOPI drags a few weeks ago.

damn it better not this time around, I am looking foward to this show, and since i missed the May 26th meet I need some sort of car show. Anyone know if there are going to be any 240s at Import Expo

I think that import shows are a big waste of $19. However, I might go spend my $19... not sure yet...

I talked to the people at the NOPI race and they said that the RX-7 we saw was the stunt double. That's why it looked jacked up. The promoters of Import Expo told me that they are bringing the real one down so it should look so fresh and so clean. They even told me that Playstation 2 is bringing their 18 wheeler for us to play on! Man this looks like it's going to be one of the better events where I get my monies worth. Their site is www.importexpo.net As for 240's bring there, i heard from several people that they are bringing down Non Fujita's 240 import tuner cover car. I'll find out more details.
