crankshaft pulley removal
Here's my problem. I need to remove the crankshaft pulley on my redtop sr so that I can put in a new front main seal. I also need to remove the timing cover so I can put some new liquid gasket down while my engine is out to make sure I dont have any more leaks. Is there any way to go about removing the crankshaft pulley and timing cover without taking off the timing chain and having to deal with setting the timing? I had someone pick up a crankshaft pulley remover from advance auto, but they gave me some huge kit that is for most chrysler cars and big engines. If someone could walk me through this process it would help a lot.
Thanks...
