Nismo Short Shift Kit Installation Help

So, my instructions are in japanese and I can't decipher them. Right now I've taken the interior pieces off, and the boot that is bolted (4 bolts) to the frame. For the life of me I can't figure out how to continue on with this, so, anyone whos put a Nismo short shift kit in, help?

Alright, I got it in. Do you have a pic of what the short shifter looks like compared to stock? I don't see or feel any difference in the shifting.

Well my instructions are in Japanese only, but the shifter itself looks exactly like the one I just pulled out, and I don't feel any difference.

Did I get scammed? Or just an ignorant seller? Opinions?

it's far from a short shifter.

all it does is stiffen your shift throws. Hence, Nismo Solid Shifter.

Should of stuck with B&M.

No such thing as a Nismo short throw shifter. It may have a Nismo sticker on it but it's made by OBX/Pilot/Mookeh/etc.

The Nismo unit for the S13/S14 is a 'solid' shifter, with a heavier counterweight for more firm throws. Shift length is unchanged.

The $200 units are made by C's and sold through Nissan Motorsports.

Russ just said that there indeed is a Nismo shifter, but it's not a short shifter.

Nismo shifter = solid shifter that firms up shifts, not a short shifter.
