Flywheel Bolts, Where can I get some
Does anyone know where I can get some bolts that will work for the flywheel? What's the thread pitch? Anyone? I found 1 thread saying to go to the dealer. Thanks, Charles

You could go to the dealer, junkyard, maybe autozone/advance/napa/whatever you have, or you could PM R240NA and see if he has any just laying around.

Yeah the ones from Napa arent specific... I just remember they were graded strong enough or something. If you want perfect bolts just go with dealer ^.

I'd have passed 3 NAPA stores and the Distribution warehouse for my particular area of NC before being told that they didn't have what I wanted, or possibly getting a part more prone to failure, so I went to the Nissan stealership for mine, I don't regret my decision, even though the sumbitches cost me 6.45 a bolt plus tax.

lot of dealerships now are doing online sales where many wholesale to the public. any trademotion operated website is usually ran by a dealer like my dealership runs one.

Something like flywheel bolts I'd feel a lot more comfortable getting from the dealer. Besides, pulling them off a junked car would be a pita if I need to pull down a tranny and work in a pool of dirt and oil.
btw... I always make it a practice to grab extra bolts - the unsual ones - when I go to junkyards, it's saved my butt on a few occassions. Same goes for fuses. |

Turns out I'm a good friend of a guy that is parts manager at the local Nissan dealership, lol. He got the bolts for me at $3 a piece. They are exactly what PHLIP said. Anyway, thanks for your help guys.
