R32 rear end for my s13

is it possible i know they bolt in but my friend sad that there were gearing issues...are there? or am i fine?

if your talking about hte one in the forsale section... no it doesnt bolt right in. it does for a G50 q45 but not a 240sx..

from what i understand, you may need to shorten your driveshaft about an inch due to the dif itself being slightly bigger than stock, and you must get different output shafts. other than that it does bolt in. and the gearing is quite different. a buddy of mine has one in his and it made the car slow as s***.

I have a r32 diff in my car... there was no issues at all... swap the axles and rear cover and it bolts right in. How would 4.36 gears make our car slower? they are lower than stock... it makes it pretty fun to drive on autox, track, backroads etc, but not really ideal for highway (4k @ 80mph)

To switch to VLSD if you don't have one, plus the R32 manual has 4.36 gears, rather than 4.08 in the S13, helps you spool up quicker as the engine will rev up a bit quicker due to the gearing change. I have done this twice now, just make sure the axles shafts are the same or get them as well.
