i was thinking about getting some panasport C5C2s, and have been checking on a couple sets and doing some research, and i believe from what i read on some websites is that they come in a car-specific application. meaning the offset and width are already set. and they are prety conservative offsets.
but if thats true, how did this car-

get such low offsets? could he have flipped the face around and be running inner barrel on the outside? or custom barrels? or maybe they do make it in custom offsets and what i read was wrong? anyone have any ideas?

also do those look like 18s? i thought C5C2 only came in 17?
anyone care to shed some light on the topic?

yahoo auctions are always crawling with panas...ive been thinking about getting a set, but theyre usually 10s up front and 11s in the rear (sounds like what you want)...the price really tempts me every so often...

I'd just buy Work Meister 3PC if you want rivets and step lip.

But then again same issue, don't think most people can ante up for them.

I dont beleive they are fakes. Thinking they are made by Panasport and then rebaged by Inspection. Similar to the Junction Produce Sacaras that are mase by OZ and then labled as JP wheels.

thanks for responding. Chmercer im well aware of howmuch they cost, no need to flame me.. I just didnt know they made custom offsets i thought they only made set sizes. i save when i need to save on things and spend when i want to spend.

and BTW, i can afford the wheels for all you haters. so go back to putting vinyl on your taillights.

i thought about buying some meisters, still thinking about it. too bad they dont have them in gold. i could always get em done by a shop in like champagne gold... i dont really like the gold on the C5C2s either, it looks good in the pic i posted but under daylight its kinda crappy yellow. more of a champagne gold would be cooler.

thanks driftoslut for the specs. and PITCH for the inspection site. i knew they were rebadged somewhere but i couldnt remember the name.

ive seen a lot of C5C2s on yahoo japan, but theyre all high offset and made for chassic specific. nothing custom.

18x9.5 offset is listed at 20.85, but I'm guessing it's not a weird number like that

18x10.5 offset listed as 24.1?? wtf

Anyhow both auctions have STARTING bids of almost $1k (two auctions for the set).
