Idle bouncing at stops, MAF or something else?
Okay, as if the clutch wasnt enough I have been meaning to post about this, I have searched the forums several times and came up with some pretty good info but I am still a little weary about what to tackle first
So, when I come to stops (only sometimes!) my rpms drop below idle (my normal idle is 750) so it drops between 500-200 and it has died about 3 times.
Now I checked my battery, it's fine. I have heard that sometimes it is the MAF on our cars that casues this, I have an aftermarket intake too, injen, it is kinda loose because it's not fully mounted down, but nothing that could do too much damage, I checked my spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and everything is fine with that...SO i am leaning towards intake system either MAF is fucked or my manifold or soemthing, I read in other posts the IAVC is a cause of this...but I was thinking of just taking the manifold off cleaning it and mounting my intake correctly (or just getting a stock one because I heard they are better then aftermarket injens from this buildup that dynoed a ka24 with injen and without and found a 10hp difference stock over aftermarket--anyone else seen that write up it was pretty interesting!).
Anyways, any info would be much appreciated !
