s15 S15 NON-LSD Question!

I searched around and found lots of info about S13 and S14 r200's but i have a question about an S15:

Will the NON-LSD S15 output shafts fit into
a Helical-LSD S15 diff?

I would imagine the output shafts of the HLSD have more splines or have a larger diameter b/c its on a SPEC-R turbo car

or

Nissan is efficient enough to manufacture both LSD and NON-LSD output shafts to be the same size/diameter so they could cut costs?

Any ideas? Anyone tried this? Yes, No?

thanks folgerz

Same thing, output shafts are different between open and helical units.
