I have determined the destributer is slightly different, however, will a sentra coil work on a 1989 240sx?
ANSWER IS NO

22443-56E11 is the part number that works. Found on Stanza and Axxis (minivan thingy).

Thanks to everyone that at least commented to tell me what engine they had tell me how to spell distributer.

^1989 240's come with a single over head cam engine. (SOHC)

? my car came with a sohc too but it s got a 2.0t now so i was just wondering if you did a swap damn and if its a sohc then no it wont work

Yes, you did the jdm thing, swap in a 2.0L (SR20DET) engine.

so does the stock sohc sentra (ka24e) coil work with the 240sx (ka24e) engine?

The sentra never came with a KA24E.

You are from the dominican Republic... maybe things are different. Because these cars at the wrecking yard have SOHC engines, and they are not maxima's or altimas.
