If i dont have VLSD, my left rear wheel will not spin correct?   Will it sometimes spin and other times not? Becaus, sometimes my left will spin depending on how much traction...it has me and srskilladet a bit confused.

Well first off you have an auto, so you don't have LSD.
2nd, even if you had a 5spd, the VLSD was not in the 89-90 models...

if the weight is near perfectly equal on both tires, they will sometimes both spin. if i'm on a very steep hill and dump the clutch at high rpm, i'll smoke both tires. flat ground results in a one tire burnout <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

also my left tire will lose grip more than the right tire

kid Zelda is straight up wrong on that.
VLSD was an option on all years it even says so In the factory Service manual.
KId why you spreading misinformation you know better than that. I already proved this issue to you on two different forums but you insist on spreading misinformation.
If you have an auto them you most likely will not have VLSD because most people that ordered auto's did not order the VLSD option.

not taking sides, but i thought the guys at fresh alloy said no US s13's had vLSD, but the canadian ones did. i thought asad or somebody said he checked....
but if it says it was available in the FSM, you can't argue with that.

The only USDM s13 that come with LSD is the one equipped with Super HICAS system. And that only available from 91-93. I am quite sure about this, but please correct me if I am wrong.

pchio you are correct, i have a 93 240SX SE with the Super Hicas, ABS and LSD. Very rare, And yes even if you dont have the LSD sometimes you can get both wheels to spin on a open Diff, But if the weight is too much on one tire more than the other &nbsp;thats where you will notice with no LSD only one wheel will spin. If you are unsure simply look on your rear diff for a orange sticker that says LSD on it. But this is only for the Super Hicas ABS models.

deeper Image,
yes the super HIcas car came with VLSD but it was an option on all years. Folks just because Asad on Fresh Alloy says something does not always make him right. He's a college student give me a break. I respect his knowledge but he is not always right. I have proved before that the VLSD was an option on all years . I had a base 89 with it. There was another car for sale last summer here in socal a 91 non hicas but se and it had it too.
guys I only post info I know I have been around a lot longer than a lot of you. I am not trying to dis just educate.
Ask S13grl she works at a dealership and can back this fact up .
Man, how many times do we have to around on this to wake you people up?

this thread was gone over a couple of months ago I guess people don't do archive searches

well. i can't find the post at fresh alloy because the search feature hasn't been working right for me. but i just really find it confusing when asad said something like, i just checked and no US s13's had LSD, then alex chang said, the same thing that he checked too, and someone else said the same thing. &nbsp;instead of getting uptight, why don't you prove everyone wrong? i'm just saying that's what i've heard. if you're right, then fine, if they're right fine. i'm in it to learn, not to compete and see who has the most knowledge. #### i hope the S13's DID have an option, makes it easier for me
