Can anyone recommend a good external wastegate that doesn't cost a lot? I want it to be electronically controlled, and I don't much care how it looks or who it's made by.

I just want a fairly good wastegate that won't break the bank.

tial 35mm wastegate is pretty cheap,
like 200 bucks or something.

no wastegate is electric. all are mechanical

boost controllers are electronic and manual, if that what you mean

I though you needed a wastegate that was made to work with an electronic boost controller to use one. I thought it had something to do with the actuator...

wastegates and boost controllers are independent things. All the boost controller is doing is blocking the pressure to the wastegate untill the desired boost level is reached. so any boost controller will work with any wastegate.

get the tial 35mm

Oh, that's great. The wastegate is from a Porsche 930, so I want to keep it anyways. I won't even have to replace the wastegate spring?
